We hope everyone is fairing well during this heat wave. It’s important to stay hydrated! That’s why we’re offering cucumber water at our stand this weekend!
At our pop up stand this weekend (and every day) available to purchase will be cabbage, kale, collards, squash, zucchini, jams, jellies, syrups, meats, eggs, peas, and perhaps more! Please feel free to ask as not everything displays easily and we really prefer to harvest as needed so that our produce is at its freshest.
We planted more jalapenos this week so we can feature even more hot honey and hot sauce! And we planted some new hot peppers recently as well, so watch out for a new, upcoming hot sauce! Additionally, we are excited to up our piri-piri sauce production this year as well as a brand new marinade. So get ready to grill with the flavors of Beaver Creek.
Soon, we will be letting our rhode island red chicks out to pasture! They should be acclimated to their new home by now, and, though at a fully mature age, they're getting pretty big!
Last but not least, we are currently working on a new CSA form. If you don’t know what a CSA is, it is Consumer Supported Agriculture. It is for people like you who want the freshest veggies WHILE supporting the agriculture community near you. CSA keeps food dollars in the local community and contributes to the development and maintenance of regional food systems. With a "guaranteed market" for their produce, farmers can invest their time in doing the best job they can producing food rather than marketing their products.
Don’t forget to contact us if you are interested in volunteering, whether for fun or for a school credit. We offer produce in exchange for volunteering!
